Create a workflow

How admins build reusable workflows.

Workflows turn repeatable HR processes into ordered steps with owners. Use them for onboarding, offboarding, document collection, approvals, and other recurring work.

  1. Open Workflows.
  2. Choose Create Workflow.
  3. Enter the workflow name and entity.
  4. Add each step in order.
  5. Choose whether each step is a task or approval.
  6. Assign each step to the starter, employee manager, specific user, or specific employee.
  7. Save the workflow.
