A workflow instance is a live run of a saved workflow. Start one when a real process needs to happen for an employee, document, timesheet, PTO request, enrollment, onboarding, or offboarding.
- Open the relevant workflow or workflow start page.
- Select the workflow.
- Choose the related record or employee.
- Start the workflow.
- Monitor generated tasks and approvals from workflow instances.
